Education District II TG/PS, Olusegun Osinaike, Honoured with Lagos State Long Service Merit Award

The Supervising Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary (STG/PS) for Education District II, Mr. Olusegun Osinaike, has been recognized as a distinguished recipient of the Lagos State Public Service Long Service Merit Award 2025. 

The award was presented in recognition of his outstanding dedication, diligence, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of public service throughout his career.

Mr. Osinaike was among six serving Permanent Secretaries and 750 deserving officers honored at the ceremony held on Tuesday at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja, as part of the Year 2025 Lagos State Public Service Week.

The Long Service Merit Award is a key initiative by the Lagos State Government designed to recognize and reward diligence, commitment, and loyalty among public servants, thereby inspiring others to uphold the high tradition of service excellence.

Speaking at the event, the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, lauded the awardees for their invaluable contributions to governance.

"We believe this periodic exercise will encourage awardees to do more, while also serving as motivation for other public servants to remain committed to delivering effective service to the State," Mr. Agoro stated.

He urged all public servants to continue discharging their duties efficiently and effectively, emphasizing the need for personal development and the embrace of ICT innovations to enhance productivity and professional growth.

The recognition of Mr. Osinaike underscores the Lagos State Government’s commitment to promoting excellence and integrity within the public sector, reflecting his exemplary leadership and long-standing contributions to educational development in Education District II and the state at large.
