Police Service Commission Commends Kano Police Command for Maintaining Peace and Order

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has lauded the Kano State Police Command for its successful efforts in maintaining peace and order, noting a significant improvement in the State's security situation.
The commendation was delivered during a courtesy visit by a high-powered PSC delegation to the Command Headquarters today, October 8, 2025.
The delegation, led by Justice Paul Galumje (Rtd) and DIG Taiwo Lakanu (Rtd), called on the Commissioner of Police (CP), Ibrahim Adamu Bakori. Justice Galumje expressed satisfaction with the security environment, attributing the improved safety directly to the Commissioner's leadership.
Justice Galumje thanked CP Bakori for the reception and urged all officers to continue providing their best in service to humanity.
In his response, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori expressed gratitude for the PSC's commendation. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to sustained security efforts, stating:
"Under my watch, officers and men of the Kano State Police Command will continue to give their best efforts in crime prevention, management, and control. We will remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents, and we will not relent in our efforts to maintain peace and order in the State.”
The Kano State Police Command emphasized its appreciation for the endorsement and looks forward to continued collaboration with the PSC and other stakeholders to achieve its mandate.
