Police Summon Edo LG Acting Chairman Over Alleged N100m Financial Irregularities
The Nigeria Police Force has invited the Acting Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Area, Mr. Sunday Akiotu, for questioning following allegations of financial misconduct said to involve more than N100 million belonging to the council.
The invitation was issued by the Police Special Fraud Unit in Lagos after a petition was submitted by the Integrity Advocacy for Development Initiative, which raised concerns about several financial transactions linked to the local government.

Police in Alcoa, Tennessee, said officers responded to a call on Wednesday afternoon from a hotel along Alcoa Highway following reports of a confrontation involving a weapon.
According to the police report, witnesses told officers that the employee, identified as D’Andre Moxey, had knocked on a guest’s door to clean the room but became upset when there was no response. The situation reportedly led to a heated argument between the two men.
