A physically challenged person , Rufus Adeyeye has displayed his talent on amputee modelling at GTCO Fashion Weekend in Lagos  

The 20years old, amputee model has made waves in the Nigerian modeling industry saying that physically challenged barrier not limitations to success.

Forensic News gathered that the born as an amputee Rufus, didn’t initially plan on becoming a model but a chance encounter at Ikeja sparked the journey and he hadn't imagined.

According to him while feeding replied from journalist during the GTCO fashion weekend exhibition in Lagos, stated that nothing specifically motivated him to go into modeling

“Nothing specifically

Motivated me, but despite that, you need set goals for everything that you want to do in life “

“I didn’t know anything about modeling, but my agency put me through, and seeing others in the industry inspired me.”

With over three years of experience, Rufus now fully embraces his career. Through the support and training of LED Model, his agency, he learned the ropes and found confidence in his unique style. “I have been working as a model for over three years, and I really enjoy it. For me, it’s been okay because I love what I do,” he said.

Despite being an amputee, Rufus doesn't see limitations. “I don’t think I have any challenges. Even being an amputee model from birth, I can do everything with my hands,” he proudly stated “As a youth, I do a lot of chores myself.” Originally from Osun State, Rufus believes his experiences have shaped his resilience and positivity.

When asked about his advice for others, Rufus emphasized self-belief and ambition. “People shouldn’t underestimate or limit themselves. You can do more and anything. Showcase your talent and take a step forward.” His role as a model at GTCO Fashion Weekend was a contracted opportunity arranged by LED Model, and he hopes it’s just one of many more to come.
