A United kingdom (UK) founder and Director of Fashion East and a not-for-profit talent incubator, Lulu Kennedy, has lauded the organisers of the GTCO fashion weekend for the wonderful fashion exhibition in Lagos,  Nigeria,  West Africa 

Kennedy made the remarked in an interview after her 1st masterclass with topic: “Incubating Talent; Supporting The Next Generation” during the GTCO fashion weekend, Saturday in Lagos.

Kennedy who has played a key role in launching the careers of over 200 British fashion designers, including Kim Jones, Simone Rocha, and JW Anderson and also shaping London's cultural landscape stated that the GTCO Fashion Weekend, Nigeria has developed a lot of potentials and talented fashion designers to the world of fashion.

She said that GTCO has created a platform that shown a fashion to the global space and a lot of talented fashion designers have been to world through this kind of exhibition

“ I am here with my colleagues today in Nigeria at the GTCO Fashion Weekend in Lagos and we have the exhibition “

“Despite this is my first time in Nigeria, we seen wonderful designers in Nigeria, fashion designers to partners with in Nigerian in terms of development and we would like to train Nigerian fashion designers talent”

“Having be my first time here in Nigeria. I love that i am here less than 48 hours and I haven't yet had time to sleep. And now that my masterclass is done, I'm going to UK with some local designers and take it from there as to what the talent is all about and i'm sure there are potential of talented fashion designers in global space” Kennedy stated.

She further stated that they were open to right partners and the right kind of strategy,

“we have done so many things in assisting the young designers and presently, I feel there's a lot of logistical problems in that regards, I don't funding people but maybe we can ask GTCO for a help” she said.

Kennedy, however commended the GTCO for creating a platform to inspire and shown a fashion to the global space.

“ I am so inspired and impressed by what they're doing here today, the way that they giving this beautiful space a large turns out is highly commendable
